Michael Avenevoli joined Higginbotham in June 2014 where he currently serves as a Managing Director and Shareholder. He started his insurance career over 12 years ago at an independent insurance agency in his hometown of St. Louis, Missouri.
In addition to working at an Independent Insurance Agency, Michael previously held positions at Coventry Healthcare and Paychex Insurance Agency prior to joining Higginbotham.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri. He holds the Chartered Benefit Consultant (CBC) designation from The National Association of Alternative Benefit Consultants (NAABC) and is an Associate Advisor within the Health Rosetta Benefits Advisor Program.
Michael specializes in helping companies implement benefit strategies designed to stabilize cost while providing a benefits program that improves the employee’s appreciation for, and understanding of, the benefits being provided.
Michael, his wife Crystal, and two children are active members of their Church. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, golf, and spending time with his family.
