Jared has always been driven to focus on justice, transparency, and helping the less fortunate. His passion about his work comes from a realization that our healthcare crisis is driven by perverse and broken incentive structures. He commits his efforts to helping clients re-align the incentives to create win-win situations for employers, employees and their families, healthcare providers, and the surrounding community. He understands that employers are afraid of the unknown, even though the known system is clearly not working for them. While there is so much social pressure against breaking free from a system that has so much power over our economy and our lives, he is quick to remind people that the human cost is even greater than the financial cost!
Jared believes all can go above and beyond by regularly taking that one extra step – doing that little thing that most people think about but convince themselves won’t make a difference. Eventually all those steps add up and there is tangible improvement in the world around us.
Jared Mongold joined Insurance Office of America in August 2020 as an Employee Benefits Advisor. Before joining IOA, Jared was a Senior Benefits Advisor at Brown & Brown.
Jared has over a decade of insurance experience advising middle-market clients on group benefits and commercial insurance, primarily focused on emerging technology, aerospace, construction, and community service. He is dedicated to creating innovative benefits programs that maximize both financial performance and access to quality healthcare.
Jared is licensed in both Life and Health and Property and Casualty. A native Floridian, he earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business Administration. He is a proud husband and father to three rambunctious boys under five years old.
